With Batch #7, a new group of start-up teams is stepping into the MAX!mize incubation program to turn cutting-edge research into real-world impact.

Over the coming months, these 12 teams will refine their ideas, explore market potential, and take the first crucial steps on their entrepreneurial journey. We’re excited to introduce the teams and the innovations they will bring to life.

ArcSci
Institute: Max Planck Institute for Human Development
Team: Nour Tawil, Simone Kühn, Claire Pauley
Pitch: ArcSci works with architecture teams to generate data-driven insights on how people experience real-world spaces. These insights guide human-centered design decisions, helping teams avoid costly design mistakes and improve project outcomes.
C4Value
Institute: Max Planck Institute for Chemical Energy Conversion
Team: Frederike Sophie Heinen, Maurice Belleflamme
Pitch: C4Value is developing a novel chemocatalytic process that converts bio-based acetaldehyde, derived from bioethanol, directly into acetoin.

Ceres
Institute: Max Planck Institute of Plant Breeding Research
Team: Steven Le Hung Cheng, Julian Strippel
Pitch: Ceres is developing a precise-acting, environmentally and ecological sustainable agrochemical for crop disease protection in a warming climate.
ConfigAI
Institute: Max Planck Institute for Informatics
Team: Ayush Kumar, Sagnik Dutta
Pitch: ConfigAI turns high-level model code into FPGA-ready hardware automatically, cutting the path from model idea to low-latency deployment from months to minutes.

NovaPolyn
Institute: Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems
Team: Muhammad Turab Ali Khan, Muhammad Yunusa
Pitch: NovaPolyn is tackling the global landfill crisis through high-performance, biodegradable materials. Their fibers and polymers deliver industrial-grade durability during use, yet fully decompose in soil —actively restoring the land they leave behind.
Expeerience
Institute: Max Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition
Team: Anastasiia Lutsenko, Lubomyr Matsekh
Pitch: Expeerience is a SaaS NLP-driven solution for the digital healthcare and well-being sector that turns speech into precise, clinically relevant data.

Glycodynamix
Institute: Max Planck Institute of Biophysics
Team: Mateusz Sikora, Balázs Fábián
Pitch: Glycans cover over 80% of proteins and regulate their accessibility and druggability. They dynamically shield epitopes, biasing immune recognition and promoting viral escape. Glycodynamix aim to turn glycosylation into a controllable engineering variable.
HybridSpin Technologies
Institute: Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics
Team: Pavel Povolni, Georgiy Solomakha
Pitch: HybridSpin Technologies builds precision magnetic field sensors for low-field MRI that dramatically improve image quality and system stability. Their technology enables reliable, affordable MRI imaging in environments where conventional systems fail.

Locksmith Labs
Institute: Max Planck Institute for Multidisciplinary Sciences
Team: Thomas A. Hensel, Sebastian Burk, Swenja Gerdes, Marc Holderied
Pitch: LocksmithLabs develops a physics-aware AI compositing tool to help visual storytellers break free from greenscreens with pixel-perfect results.
MaxLife
Institute: Max Planck Institute for Human Development
Team: Ali Dasmeh, Kiarash Tebbi
Pitch: MaxLife is developing a digital proactive-health platform to help people who want to live healthier for longer to move beyond the fragmented reactive healthcare system with actionable health and biological-age assessments, personalized medical action plans, and AI-supported coaching within one integrated app.

Transition
Institute: Max Planck Institute for Physics
Team: Karoline Schaeffner, Florian Reindl, Martin Stahlberg, Moritz Kellermann, Mukund Bharadwaj
Pitch: Transition is developing a "Plug and Play" cryogenic Optical Photon Number Resolving (PNR) system for companies and researchers in Quantum Communication and Biomedical Imaging by advancing Tungsten Transition Edge Sensor (W-TES) technology.
Twiddle
Institute: Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems
Team: Shashank Tripathi, Markus Flicke
Pitch: Twiddle is developing an agentic playable ad creator to help ad marketing specialists create and deploy effective playable ads.
